Welcome Back to The Island

So, it has been 27 days since I moved back home to the island of Puerto Rico. I have faced various challenges but nothing is stopping me from enjoying waking up in the morning with the sound of the rooster, or sleeping at night while listening to the beautiful sound of our coqui. It is beautiful, I love it. I have explored new restaurants, which I still have to review in Yelp. It is a struggle to be a vegetarian in Puerto Rico tho, the options are limited, and because most of my friends are meat eaters, my options are not always a priority. We have been getting hammered by Mother Earth with frequent earthquakes, I haven't have power for the last 48+ hours, mosquitos are eating me up during the hot nights in Santurce, I have no power but I have water, some families have lost power and water, some others have lost everything. It is difficult, very difficult, last earthquake I felt was back in 2010, and it was one, since the 28 of December of 2019 earth hasn't stopped moving in Puerto Rico, we have had more than 1000 earth movements, it has been non-stop.

Between eartquakes, nightmares and sweat, I am still proud of myself for moving back home, I know this earthquakes will stop and hopefully everything will top back to normal.
